Rules
It ain't wise to be testin' a pirate's patience..
Granted, this is the most boring page on the site. BUT! It IS necessary. Here we shall discuss the rules and regulations that even us pirates must follow in the terms of Sailor's Grave.
- First and foremost, we must consider respect to your fellow rpers. We
do not appreciate nor support the use of flaming in this room. If you
have a problem with some one, keep it to yourself. Remember if you
have nothing good to say, say nothing at all. However if there is a on
going problem, do feel free to report it to a member of the
administrative staff of the rp. Our staff is always willing to listen,
and find the quickest possible route to a solution.
- 2. No
drama. Drama is the quickest way to get a swift boot to the arse. No
one here likes it, nor will tolerate it. This rule is a clear
violation of rule number one, in many ways.
- 3. This room is a
no fight zone, no kill zone. Unless approved by a staff member
naturally. We do realize, and hope you do the same, that in some story
lines, this may become unavoidable. However in the certain outcome, if
it is acceptable, we shall find ways to avoid it. Always remember, if
you are facing off against some one, it is a risk you must take.
- 4. We do not accept a open sex zone. Sure, some heavy petting might
go on within our main room. However we keep it pg-13. Anything too
graphic is to be taken to whisper asap. Here at SG we understand that
some rpers enjoy this aspect of rol eplay. Yet we have to take in
consideration of those who do not. We appreciate your willingness to
comply to those, especially Black Jack. That man hates sex.
- 5. To continue on with rule number four, we do not allow whoring in
this room. We are not a bordello. If you are solely looking for sexual
rp, find another room. We in no way encourage any rp solely based off
of sexual encounters.
- 6. Granted there is a Jack Sparrow and a
Hector Barbossa in this room. However these two characters are the
only POTC characters permitted to role play in SG. THIS IS NOT A POTC
ROLE PLAY!!! Does this mean you can not play a POTC character? Not
exactly. Though we heavily discourage it, we will be holding
applications for you to attempt playing one. In the event that you are
denied, please do not take offense to this it solely means we do not
feel you have what it takes to bring the certain character to the table.
- 7. No mythical creatures! We want to keep this role play as historical
fictional as possible. Mythical creatures provide a huge disadvantage
to those who are seeking to role play some type of factual 17th century
role play. The only time we encourage these types of characters is if
it is pertaining to the storyline. In this event, please feel free to
share the idea you have for a character with the staff. We might just
allow it.
- 8. Most of all, have fun! We all know Oasiz has
come to lack a lot of fun filled rps, and here at SG we are old school.
We have every desire to bring back the good ol' days, and we hope you
will find this place as fun as it is hospitable.
